Welcome to my Newsletter

Seaview Easter Exhibition - Seaview Masonic Hall.   A very successful Preview Evening with plenty of visitors enjoying their easter break.  The wine flowed and the atmosphere was busy and friendly.  A very good weekend.

Bembridge Village Hall .  Good weather helped to make this a buoyant event.  The hall looked very spring-like with flowers and the tea/coffee and home made cakes went down well with visitors.

Arts and Crafts Day.  Again at Bembridge Village Hall, very well attended, I was very happy with the end result, it was nice having craftwork as well as paintings, will definitely take part next year.

IAS - Spring Exhibition at Bembridge.  It was just the weekend, but apart from the England v Germany match, there was a good turnover of visitors, some local and quite a few holiday makers.  The quality of the artwork was as always very high and we had very complimentary comments in our visitors' book.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS:

'Open Studios 2010'.  I am joining 5 other well known artists and exhibiting at Warners Coast Hotel, there will be Preview Evening on 22nd July - invitations only.

BAS Annual Exhibition - Bembridge Village Hall.  Again there is a Preview Evening, invitations have already been sent out, if anyone would like to come, let me know.

Art in August - Warners Coast Hotel.  I am exhibiting at the Hotel with other local artists, it is a very relaxed atmosphere and a good place to just pop in for coffee or lunch.

IAS - Wine Festival at Havenstreet Railway - Exhibition Hall.  We held our spring exhibition last year during their Beer Festival and it was a really busy and successful event.  I am sure that the Wine Festival will be equally as enjoyable.

BAS Autumn Exhibition - Bembridge Village Hall.  This will be the last exhibition for the year, always held in October.

Information regarding all the above events are listed on the 'Events page'.

Meanwhile, I am always happy to take on commissions and welcome visitors to visit my studio, just telephone on 01983 873478 or email me: studio@sheilaluke.co.uk
